Route: Alexandria, VA to Great Falls National Park, then to work .
Comments: Got up at about 5 after hearing my alarm go off at 4:45 and wondering for 15 minutes if I really wanted to do this. Stuck some extra padding in my bag so that my laptop could take the bumpier-than-usual trail. Key Bridge by about 6:30. Took the C&O canal towpath, staring at Georgetown. Left Great Falls about 7:30-ish. Great water fountain at Lock 10.

Look a little closer, and you see something that is looking closer at something else...
